Kindergarten exercise by Phillips Czifra
Thinking up ten describing words was so difficult, he listed “describing words” and “parts” as answers.
Metadata editors undertake a similar task. Some describing words are arbitrarily assigned simply to fill in all the blanks. Attributes can be unnecessarily assigned. Machines do not know how to recognize extra “fluff”. Often times, every describing word counts the same whether it strikes directly at heart of the matter or simply fills in a blank.
